The Desktop Speaker FM Set is recommended for students with or without a hearing loss who could benefit from Hearing Assistive Technology (HAT), but do not have access to a soundfield system or a personal FM system. The teacher wears a transmitter (T5) with a microphone and the signal is sent to a receiver (R5) that is connected to a small, desktop speaker.  This speaker sits on or near the student's desk.
