The Planet Wobble software is a series of 18 leveled books and connected activities designed to improve early reading and writing skills in young and developing readers. The Planet Wobble series focuses on increasing fluency through:

·      Whole word support and the repetition of essential high-frequency words,

·      Developing independent readers with the help of animated Clicker talking books, and

·      Increasing comprehension and writing skills through extensive practice and reinforcement of word, sentence, and text level activities.

The Planet Wobble series is divided into three levels, Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3. Each level has six books. Students are introduced to Planet Wobble in the Level 1 Book, At Wobble Beach, and the end the series reading about The Wobblit, a 16-page Level 3 book.

The books in Level 2 include: Dan’s Journey, Ella’s Bedroom, Stan’s Wait, Amber’s Busy Day, Holly’s Surprise, and Josh’s New Boots. Each book in Level 2 has twelve pages. Level 2 books continue to build on the skills learned in Level 1, and also introduce dialogue, and use repetition within text.
